My Journey to Business Astrology
My path to astrology has always been connected to my curiosity about people.
My fascination with astrology began when I was a child watching Walter Mercado on Spanish-language television.
I was captivated by the symbolism, stories, and wisdom within astrology. Even then, there was something about the language of astrology that made me curious about the deeper patterns underneath our lives.
In 2009, I began studying psychology while continuing to explore astrology independently.
At the time, astrology was a passion and personal interest. My professional path was leading me toward counseling.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Sonoma State University in 2013 and later completed my Master's degree in Counseling from San Francisco State University in 2018, specializing in Marriage, Family & Child Counseling and School Counseling.
After graduate school, I worked as an elementary school counselor, supporting children and families through some of their most important developmental years.
That chapter taught me a lot about people.
But perhaps one of the most important things I learned was how powerful it can be when someone feels truly seen and understood.
I also discovered how much I loved teaching — especially taking something complex and making it accessible, practical, and easier to understand.
That is something I still bring into my astrology work today.
I don't want you to leave a session with a collection of astrological terms you don't know how to use.
I want you to understand what we're seeing in your chart and, more importantly, what it means for your actual life.
From Counseling to Astrology
At the end of the 2021 school year, I made the decision to leave counseling.
It wasn't an easy decision.
I had spent years building a career in a field I cared deeply about, and walking away brought up questions about identity, purpose, stability, and what I was actually meant to create.
I found myself entering a period of uncertainty and asking questions I couldn't answer through conventional career planning alone.
What do I actually want to build?
What does a meaningful life look like for me?
What happens when the path you thought you were supposed to follow no longer fits?
Astrology became one of the tools that helped me reconnect with myself during that transition.
What had once been a lifelong interest became a dedicated path of study.
I began investing more deeply in astrology, learning from teachers and mentors, studying chart interpretation and timing techniques, and exploring how astrology could be applied beyond traditional questions about personality and relationships.
When I began offering astrology readings in 2022, I noticed something.
People came to me with all kinds of questions, but the conversations that energized me most were often about creation.
They wanted to know:
What am I meant to create?
How am I designed to work?
Could I build something of my own?
What kind of business would actually feel like me?
How do I create success without losing myself in the process?
Those questions kept pulling me back.
Eventually, I realized that business astrology wasn't simply another area I could explore.
It was the work I wanted to build my practice around.
Why I Believe Astrology Belongs in the Business Conversation
I believe women deserve more than a business strategy that looks good on paper.
They deserve to build businesses that support the lives they're actually trying to create.
A business can be successful and still be unsustainable.
It can make money and still leave you disconnected from yourself.
It can grow and still require you to operate in ways that constantly drain you.
And sometimes what looks like a business problem is actually connected to something deeper — your relationship with visibility, money, identity, perfectionism, decision-making, boundaries, or your capacity to hold the growth you're asking for.
This is where I believe astrology can be incredibly useful.
Your chart doesn't give you a rigid business blueprint.
Instead, it gives us another language for understanding how you operate.
We can explore your strengths.
Your tendencies.
Your challenges.
Your relationship with leadership and visibility.
Your vocational themes.
Your relationship with money and opportunity.
Your timing.
And the ways you may be trying to build something that asks you to constantly work against yourself.
The goal isn't to use astrology as an excuse for why something can't work.
It's to understand yourself well enough to ask a better question:
How can I build this in a way that works with who I am?
My Approach to Business Astrology
I practice traditional Hellenistic astrology using the Tropical Zodiac and Whole Sign house system, while also drawing from modern astrology when it adds meaningful context.
Traditional astrology gives me a strong technical foundation for understanding the birth chart, planetary condition, houses, timing, and the larger cycles we're moving through.
Modern astrology offers additional language for exploring the psychological and lived experience of those patterns.
I bring both perspectives together in a way that is practical and accessible.
My background in psychology and counseling also deeply informs how I work.
I'm interested in the chart, but I'm equally interested in the human being sitting in front of me.

But you always have agency in what you do with that information.
